Galkayo Medical Foundation
GMF is non Govermental Organization based in Galkayo, Somalia. it was established in 2001, by group of doctors, the Main goal and the objectives of the Organisation is to help and support the vulnerable communitites by proving them free medical services such as VCT, MCH, Health Clinics and also Surgical operations.
Galkayo Medical Center is the Main medical facility of the Organization, it is the referal Hospital for the critical patients . the Hospital carries out more than 2,000 surgical operations each year, thanks to Dr Abdulkadir M. Giama.
GMF has also 8 Helath posts in all the Internal Displaced People's camps in and aropund Galkayo, the health posts provide free medical services to more than 20,000 IDP communitites.
